Dr. Andreas Merkoureas is a dermatologist-venereologist, specializing in dermatosurgery, aesthetic dermatology and skin allergology.

He graduated in 2011 from the Medical School of the University of Crete and then worked at the Internal Medicine Clinic and Intensive Care Unit of the Siegen Regional Hospital in Germany (2011 - 2013).

He specialized (2013 – 2015) at the University Dermatology Clinic (Universitätshautklinik) in Homburg, Saarland, Germany. His specialization included the treatment of severe and autoimmune dermatological diseases as well as advanced dermatosurgical techniques for the treatment of skin cancer.

He is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Saarland, Germany, and has also offered many years of teaching work to students of the university of the same name in the field of dermatology - venereology.

Since 2019, he holds the German specialization certification in Skin Allergology (Zusatzbezeichnung für Allergologie). 

As a dermatology supervisor, he worked in private clinics in Karlsruhe and Mannheim, Germany, specializing in Dermatology of benign and malignant skin tumors and in Aesthetic Dermatology with laser, botox and hyaluronic acid implant applications..

With 10 years of European experience, he now offers modern up-to-date services at the Dermatologicum clinic, which include the entire spectrum of clinical, surgical and aesthetic dermatology.

Especially in the field of aesthetic medicine, he offers specialized innovations such as aesthetic facial reconstruction with “liquid” Lifting (Liquid Lifting / Face Remodeling / Lifting without a scalpel).
