What is fractional laser treatment?

This is the most modern treatment for skin regeneration and rejuvenation. Using a special laser machine, the entire surface of the skin to be treated is scanned. Through a combination of sublimation of surface cells and overheating of the appropriate layers of the skin, the production of collagen and new skin cells is stimulated. In this way, skin surface imperfections, fine wrinkles, scars, spots and discolorations are treated while radiance and firmness are added.

How is the treatment done?

The treatment is usually done in sessions. Before the start of each session, an anesthetic cream is applied to the area under treatment. Then the skin is scanned using the fractional laser machine. At the end of the treatment, a resurfacing cream and sunscreen are applied (in the morning hours).

Yes, before the start of each session, an anesthetic cream is applied to the area being treated. This way, the patient only feels a mild sensation of heat during the treatment.

What should I watch out for after treatment?

Immediately after the treatment, redness of the skin is observed, which subsides completely within the next few hours. This is the normal and desired process of regeneration and renewal of the skin. For faster regeneration, daily use of a regenerative cream is recommended. Also, for one month after the treatment, the use of sunscreen is necessary.

Duration of aesthetic result?

After the first session, the aesthetic result is immediately visible.

In the following weeks, the appearance and quality of the skin continuously improve.

Depending on the needs of each skin type and body area, 3-6 sessions are recommended. The duration of the aesthetic result is at least one year, however, in patients who adhere to basic principles of skin care and sun protection, it can last for many years.
